Ready To Walk On Water?

I love Peter's experience of walking on the roaring sea with Jesus. But the thing is, Peter's story is often misunderstood. Do you have a step you need to take?

Listen to this message I gave at a women's retreat to gain the fresh perspective you need to see Jesus in a new way! My FREE gift to you!

Facing Forgiveness: Video Interview With Heather Elise

This is our first video interview for our new Facing Forgiveness Series (you might want to venture back to the first post (so you can follow-along). Also, after watching my interview with Heather, I invite you to dig deeper by joining our Facebook group! In the Step Out And Thrive Inner-Circle Facebook Group we dive deeper into each post and get to know one another better. PLUS – Heather will be connecting with our group and answering questions this week!
I met Heather back in 2016. Prior to the sermon beginning that day, our congregation learned about Heather’s story and she shared her poem included in the interview.

3 Forgiveness Facts that I gathered from our time together:

  1. Part of forgiveness is finding God in the mess. He can and will make your mess His message.
  2. Forgiveness is a journey so pace yourself. Set healthy boundaries.
  3. The highlight of forgiveness is the ability to encourage others with your story. What may bring you pain today may help heal the pain of others tomorrow.

Heather, I agree with Bethany, that your story is being used by God. No one should have to go through what you did, and I pray that God will continue to work in your heart and continue to use your story for his glory. Beautiful and powerful poem.
