Ready To Walk On Water?

I love Peter's experience of walking on the roaring sea with Jesus. But the thing is, Peter's story is often misunderstood. Do you have a step you need to take?

Listen to this message I gave at a women's retreat to gain the fresh perspective you need to see Jesus in a new way! My FREE gift to you!

Facing Forgiveness: Video Interview With Cheryl Rucker

This is our second video interview for our new Facing Forgiveness Series (you might want to venture back to the first post (so you can follow-along). Also, after watching my interview with Cheryl, I invite you to dig deeper by joining our Facebook group! In the Step Out And Thrive Inner-Circle Facebook Group we dive deeper into each post and get to know one another better. PLUS – Cheryl will be connecting with our group and answering questions this week!

I met Cheryl through volunteering at Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies. Cheryl is a Small Group leader and I help out on the Teaching Series team. Our next study “Why Her” just started this week and we would love to have you join us! (You can grab the "Why Her" book from Amazon or through the Proverbs 31 store).

3 Forgiveness Facts that I gathered from my interview with Cheryl:

  1. Our relationship with God guides us through trials but does not prevent tough times from happening.
  2. Give God room to work (oh man, I can totally get in the way!).
  3. It may not feel like it or look like it but God is always working. Trust Him.

Forgiveness doesn’t make them right it makes you free. Thank God for the gift of forgiveness.

I listened to the entire interview and have to say that this is exactly what I needed to hear today. I loved Cheryl’s vulnerability! Authentic connection, which is what I write about on my blog, is created through this kind of vulnerability. I am so thankful that Cheryl had the courage to share her story.
